Last week, we joined another #ZomatoMeetUp event at Signatures Restaurant in Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta with fellow foodies from Zomato Indonesia. This was our 2nd time joining this MeetUp session organized by Zomato (the first one we joined was few months ago at Bengawan Restaurant in Keraton The Plaza, click here for review) and we were glad to say that we had so much fun in both events.
Didn’t take much pictures of the interior this time but you can refer to my other post about Signatures Restaurant HERE.
This time, we tried their Weekend Brunch, which is an All-You-Can-Eat buffet session like typical Signatures style, priced at IDR 360,000++/person including iced tea and water, valid every Saturday and Sunday from 12PM to 3PM.
Let’s dig in!
We started off with the legendary Bubur Ayam HI (Hotel Indonesia’s chicken rice porridge), where you can find at exclusively separated station featuring the rice porridge, turmeric broth, and large selections of Indonesian condiments. It’s a Do-It-Yourself kind of station and sadly if you miss this and that, the taste won’t be as extravagant as it should be. I think it would have been better if some prepared ready-to-grab bowls are also served in the station so clueless guests (like me) can enjoy the legendary Bubur Ayam HI as the way it should have been.
Japanese station with variety of sushi, sashimi, miso soup, teriyaki, noodle and many more. Fresh!
The cold appetizers and salad station is definitely not to be missed. For example, this Foie Gras served with sweet jam was lovely.
And the seafood.
Asian station: try the Chicken with Blueberry Sauce and Fish with Mango Salad, YUM!
If you wanna try some Indonesian food beside the Bubur Ayam, go for Nasi Goreng Gila. It was tasty and flavorful.
Meatloaf was great as well, afterall I just can’t resist meat. XD
Someone is obviously crazy over cheese and fulfilled his cravings like crazy. Telling you this was only his first plate, LOL!
As typical Signatures buffet, I am continuously amazed by their delectable selection of desserts, covering any kind of desserts from East to West. I’ll let the photos do the talk!
It was a wonderful lunch and we met many other foodies, some we just met for the first time, some we are already familiar with. We were really glad to be part of this event, so thank you for having us and we hope to see you guys again in next events! Love you all! <33
