Hands and Heart, Sukhumvit 38, Bangkok

Still in Sukhumvit 38 area, we visited this little coffee shop called Hands and Heart before we stopped at Toby’s. Before we went there, we saw many websites recommending this coffee shop for their delicious coffee and also comfortable place.

Located quite hidden inside Ascella Apartment complex, this coffee shop is visible from the street, and the writing signage remarks the place. From the photos, the place looks A LOT bigger than the actual one, we were surprised when we saw that the coffee shop is indeed very tiny and can probably only fit about 20-25 person in total.

Decorated with minimalist black and white theme, the coffee shop looks simple yet elegant. Inspired by Teshima Art Museum in Kagawa, Japan, this shop exactly fulfills every Instagrammers’ dreams.

But it’s not only about the beautiful place. Hands and Heart is pretty serious with their coffee, offering selections of black coffee (served in white cups) and white coffee (served in black cup) from various sources around the world including Thailand, Africa, Colombia, Brazil, and others. These seasonal AA-grade single origin beans are hand brewed with Aeropress, pour-over, and Chemex.

Beside coffee, they also serve herbal juices as well as light snacks like croissants, sandwiches, etc.

Black Coffee (Rwanda) THB 120

A fruity, medium bodied coffee but a bit too acidic for me.

Iced White Coffee (Aftersweet) THB 120

Smooth and mild, easy for everyone, coffee drinkers or non drinkers.

Croissant THB 80

Tried the Charcoal and Raspberry ones, loved both of them although I loved the charcoal better. The croissants are airy and flaky, but not “empty”, if you know what I mean.

This coffee shop is worth visiting especially if you’re into good coffee. The beautiful place is like the icing on the cake, so if you take pictures while eating (like we do), don’t miss it!
