Have you ever been in a restaurant which serves 2 totally different types of cuisine? During my stay in Bali last year, I managed to try a place which serves both Indonesian and Italian dishes. The restaurant is located at the first floor of the Lippo Plaza building, the same complex with Siloam hospital in Sunset Road street.
The restaurant serves good selections of Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, salad, you name it. And also, don’t forget the Indonesian food selections. I was quite surprised because I didn’t expect that it would be that complete. They have a lot of variety including fried rice/noodles, soto/soup dishes, grilled chicken, fried duck, even Chinese or Western inspired Indonesian dishes like cap cay (stir-fry vegetables) and hotplates.
The dining area is separated into indoor and outdoor, and of course being in Bali, we would love to choose the outdoor one, but choosing the table could be quite tricky because it is usually very windy (like, really windy, honestly). The waitress was kind enough to advice us before we picked our table in the outside, but later we knew why she had to make such effort. I literally could see the snack, the basket, the tissue box, flying everywhere. It was funny, though.
We decided to try the Italian cuisine so we ordered a salad, 2 pizzas and a main. Our waitress, Ms. Ayu, was very nice and helpful, she brought us a basket of Indonesian crackers, from the jar in the indoor seating area (we noticed that when we walked in). It was so delicious, I mean, hello, it was just a typical Indonesian crackers, but how come did it taste that good? We really enjoyed it and Ms. Ayu always refilled our basket with more and more crackers, thank you!
Insalata Di Cesare – IDR 32.000++
This is Romaine salad with grilled chicken, topped with parmesan cheese and croutons, served with 2 slices of garlic bread. I love the salad, but the dressing, not really. Everything is so fresh and perfect, but the dressing is too runny although it tasted deliciously creamy and cheesy! Still will order if I go there again.

Caffe Italia Pizza – IDR 65.000++
This is definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten so far. The pizza is thin with crispy crusts, the tomato paste is soooo fresh, so sweet and sour, very delicious. The sausage, ham, and olives are topped with thick melted mozarella, don’t forget the fresh mushrooms and herbs. Hmm, YUM!

Involtino Di Pollo Con Spinaci E Parmiagiano – IDR 69.000++
Sorry for the weird angle of the photo, but this one is absolutely a must-try! Basically a pan-fried rolled chicken breast stuffed with spinach and parmesan, served with vegetables and mashed potato. The mashed potato was hilarious, though! XD

Margherita Pizza – IDR 45.000++

Tomato, mozarella, and fresh Basil leaves. Back to basic, and still very satisfying.

Mocha Ice Blended – IDR 32.000++
With two coffee seeds in the top, it was aromatic, delicious and energizing.

Ice Tea – IDR 10.000++
Besides food, they also serve alcoholic drinks including wine, both local and imported ones. Currently they are having promotion of Buy 2 Get Third One Free for all house wines, cocktails and beers everyday from 5 to 7PM.
