Again, this is a late post but I am gonna introduce you to Living Room Cafe,  a part of Living Room Factory Outlet (FO) which currently have 3 outlets in Bogor, BSD, and Kemang.

I went to the one in Kemang and it’s not something you can find just like that since the cafe is located inside the FO. There is no signage whatsoever indicating the existence of the cafe from outside. The FO itself is quite big and the cafe is actually located farther inside.

The cafe has the semi outdoor concept with glass ceiling and garden by the side. It’s not big but looks good from the first glance! I especially like the green concept and the heaven of natural sunlight bursting through the glass ceiling, it is a 100% perfect set to take best photos. XD

However, it was sunny and hot that day, this environment definitely can backfire. After a while, I really felt an uncontrollable humidity and the fan wasn’t working that time. Luckily we were the only guests that time, but with more people around, the place can be hotter and torturing, LOL.

Although the place is beautiful, don’t expect too much from the food selection as I think the intention of having this cafe is just for the FO customers to take some rest, relax a bit and enjoy some snacks/drinks. The food available are only snacks, cookies and dessert, the heaviest meal is only pasta (spaghetti). Prices for F&B range from IDR 8,000 to 30,000 only.

Tried the Sausage with French Fries (IDR 30,000) for the bites, Spaghetti Bolognese (IDR 25,000) and Spaghetti Hot Tuna (IDR 25,000) for the meal. It took so long for the food to be served, and as you can tell from the photos, the spaghetti was dried out and I wasn’t sure what’s the difference between the so-called Bolognese and Hot Tuna. The sausage was the only thing I liked, but again, would I like to come back for ONE sausage like this? Err, no.

The drinks seem to be the recommended options from the menu and they have coffee, tea, smoothies, shakes, and juices. Tried the Power Juice (carrot, spinach, celery, apple, lemon), Vitamin Rush (orange, grape, strawberries, banana), Detox Therapy (beet, apple, carrot, ginger, lemon) at IDR 30,000 each. The juices were alright but probably mixed with lots of water/ice that made them a bit runny and losing their concentrates.

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this place. And normally I am always interested to share about this kind of cafe quickly, but this had been in my hard disk waiting to be reviewed for quite a while. I actually like the place, its simplicity, its comfortable surroundings, and how empty it can be because it is just super hidden. But I definitely won’t recommend this cafe if you want to look for something to eat, I mean decent food. For snacking and just hanging around with friends, it’s a good place! 😉
