Once upon a time, when my father was still alive, we used to go to a lot of Chinese restaurants in the town because somehow my parents love it. We used to go every week,  as a family. But then, things have changed, and I find myself not liking chinese food as much as I did in the past. Nevertheless, one of the best chinese restaurants in Jakarta would be Ming restaurant. We used to go there so often, the location is still the same, but the place has changed a lot. Now the building has transformed to be one of the most crowded eating place rather than just a business building.
Ming restaurant is located on the ground floor, with a bold chinese atmosphere, claims itself as a seafood-focused restaurant, also serves dim sum, Peking duck, and many others. It’s an upscale restaurant so when you see the menu, most all of the food are kind of pricey compared to the portions. But many guests usually come with a family or relatives, so it’s worth it to spend quality time with your loved ones and share the food together.
Kuan Yin tea is very nice to accompany chinese food

Steamed Prawn Dumplings (Rp. 16.800,-)

Shumai (Rp. 16.800,-)

Mapo Toufu (Rp. 56.500,-)

Fried Bean Curd with Scallop (Rp. 56.500,-)

Stir-fry Green Beans with Pork (Rp. 62.000,-)

Crispy Fried Noodle with Seafood (Rp. 75.000,-)

Prawn with Mayonnaise (Rp. 98.000,-)
The food are nice. If you go on weekend, most probably it’ll be full. Service is okay, but some waitresses have tired looks on their faces, which was annoying to me. Anyway, it’s still a good place to visit for a good chinese cuisine.
